Day One
We travel south via the motorway network and check in to the DoubleTree by Hilton Kingston upon Thames. After some time to relax and freshen up, we make our way to Kew Gardens to experience the spectacular Christmas at Kew light trail. Step into a magical botanical wonderland illuminated by dazzling lights, enchanting music and the spirit of the festive season. Marvel at breathtaking larger-than-life light installations, wander through sparkling tunnels of colour and immerse yourself in captivating soundscapes as Kew Gardens is transformed into an unforgettable winter spectacle.
Day Two
Today we travel to Hampton Court Palace for a truly magical festive experience at this year's Hampton Court Palace Festive Fayre. Set within the magnificent Great Fountain Garden of Henry VIII's historic palace, the fayre brings together more than 100 independent artisans and producers offering a wonderful array of gifts, including jewellery, candles, fragrances, homewares, prints, hampers, board games and, of course, the Christmas classic - socks. Soak up the festive atmosphere as live music fills the air from the bandstand throughout the day, and take the opportunity to sample a tempting selection of seasonal food and drink treats. Our ticket also includes admission to the Palace itself, allowing time to explore its magnificent state apartments, historic halls and fascinating Tudor heritage. This afternoon we return to Kingston upon Thames where the remainder of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Take a stroll along the riverbank, explore the local shops, or indulge in a delightful meal at one of the town's renowned restaurants.
BDay Three
This morning we check out of our hotel and travel to Birmingham, home to the renowned Frankfurt Christmas Market. One of the largest authentic and most popular Christmas markets outside Germany and Austria, it offers a wonderful festive atmosphere with more than 80 stalls showcasing a fantastic range of gifts, handcrafted goods and seasonal treats. From personalised presents and unique crafts to traditional festive delights, there is something to suit every taste. Birmingham is also a shopper's paradise, boasting an impressive selection of retail destinations including the iconic Bullring and Grand Central, the stylish Mailbox, and the world's largest Primark store. Whether you are searching for Christmas gifts or simply enjoying a leisurely browse, there is plenty to discover. In the mid-afternoon we bid farewell to Birmingham and begin our journey back to North Wales.
