Join us for a day out as we visit stunning Powis Castle and enjoy a journey on the Welshpool & Llanfair light railway. The day begins with a scenic journey on the Welshpool & Llanfair light railway through the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside before an afternoon visit to Powis Castle, once the medieval fortress of Welsh princes and now a richly decorated Baroque castle with opulent interiors and grand gardens.

Travel Arrangements
Travel to Welshpool for a visit Powis Castle where we will have time to look around the historic 13th century medieval castle and world-famous garden. There will also be some time to have some lunch (lunch not included in package) in the onsite café before we depart Powis Castle at 14:00 and make our way to Llanfair Caereinion where we board the Welshpool & Llanfair light railway for an 8 mile return journey by narrow gauge steam train through beautiful Mid Wales countryside. After our train ride, we then begin our journey home.
