Located amongst 160 acres of magnificent Somerset countryside, Warner Cricket St. Thomas is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a few days away. This Regency style, 19th century mansion was the scene of much of the famous TV comedy, To The Manor Born and is surrounded by splendid parkland, with colourful gardens, lakes, and a unique woodland area. As with all Warner Leisure Hotels, Cricket St. Thomas also provides extensive entertainment, including nightly live performances, and excellent dining.

We travel south via the motorways to Somerset and the Warner Leisure Hotel at Cricket St Thomas where we stay for the next four nights.

Optional Excursion A

Enjoy a visit one of the UK's most popular visitor attractions, Longleat House and Safari Park, where we include a drive through the six and a half miles of Safari Park, giving you an opportunity to see some truly amazing animals such as Lions, Tigers, Rhinos and Giraffes. There will also be plenty of time to explore the other excellent attractions at Longleat including the house itself, regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain, the world famous hedge maze, Longleat Railway and Safari Boats.

Optional Excursion B

Join us as we travel to Lyme Regis, an unspoiled historic seaside resort and fishing port on the famous Cobb harbour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its geology and fossils. From here we continue on to the elegant resort of Sidmouth, described as the quintessential English seaside resort and a previous winner of a gold award in a Britain in Bloom competition. Sidmouth is a lovely unspoilt resort with fine Regency architecture, an elegant promenade and red sandstone cliffs all overlooking the waters of Lyme Bay.

Following breakfast this morning we check out and depart from the hotel to commence our journey home to North Wales.
