Day One
We travel to Birmingham, arriving in the early afternoon where the remainder of the day is then free to explore. Birmingham is a shopper’s paradise, whether you’re after head-turning chic or eye-catching value it’s all available in this fantastic shopping destination. Home to the Bullring & Grand Central, the luxurious Mailbox, department stores including Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, beautiful arcades with independent shops, the Jewellery Quarter and the historic markets in Digbeth, Birmingham offers you everything you could ever want in an attractive and compact space. After nightfall, the excellent selection of venues continues with a great choice of restaurants, bars and night clubs to enjoy.
Day Two
Further time at leisure in Birmingham for shopping and sightseeing, maybe take a sightseeing cruise along Birmingham’s famous canal system and see the city sights and skyline from a totally different perspective. Alternatively, why not visit the excellent Birmingham Back to Backs and step back in time with a guided tour of the carefully restored and atmospheric 19th-century courtyard of working people's houses and discover how the former residents who were crammed into these small residences used to live and work. We depart Birmingham mid-afternoon and commence our journey home to North Wales.
