Today we depart from our local area and travel south via the motorways to Falmouth where we stay for the next four nights at the Royal Duchy hotel.

Day Three

This morning, we set out to explore Mevagissey, often referred to as a genuine Cornish treasure. Its enchanting streets are a labyrinth of narrow alleyways, surrounded by charming, pastel-hued houses that encircle its picturesque harbor. In the afternoon, our journey leads us to the historic city of Truro. Here, you'll have the opportunity to savor a leisurely lunch at one of the delightful cafes, peruse the diverse selection of independent shops, or perhaps venture to the awe-inspiring three-spire Cathedral, a prominent landmark that graces the city's skyline.

Day Four

Today we visit St. Ives, a picturesque seaside town and one of the Cornwall's most popular resorts. Situated at the western end of the Cornish Peninsula overlooking a spectacular crescent of golden sand beaches, St. Ives has a laid-back atmosphere and features picturesque narrow cobbled streets, colourful traditional fishermen's cottages, independent shops, and lovely boutiques plus a fantastic selection of stylish cafes and restaurants. As you would expect, there are also some fabulous beaches plus the town is quite a magnet for artists and is home to a small branch of London's famous Tate Gallery. Whether you're looking to browse lovely boutiques, relax on the beach or sample delicious local seafood, you're sure to enjoy a visit to St. Ives.

We check out of our hotel and begin the jounrney home.
