Day One
We travel south via the motorway system to Portsmouth where we board a Wightlink ferry and sail across the Solent to Fishbourne. On arrival we continue on to the Warner Bembridge Coast resort where we are staying for the next four nights.
DDay at Leisure
Enjoy a day at leisure to unwind and make use of the superb leisure facilities or maybe participate in some of the excellent activities that are available during your stay.
Optional Excursion A
Morning visit to Ryde, the island's largest town with an elegant esplanade, attractive Georgian and Victorian buildings, plus its half mile long pier. This afternoon we enjoy a return journey on board one of the Island's most treasured attractions, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Travel back in time to the golden age of train travel and enjoy a journey through the beautifully unspoiled Isle of Wight countryside whilst being hauled by one of their magnificence, immaculately restored Edwardian and Victorian trains.
B, DOptional Excursion B
Join us today as we explore the regal Osborne House, once the cherished holiday retreat of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Step into history as you wander through the opulent state rooms, where the monarch entertained dignitaries and royals. Osborne Beach, the Queen's private seaside haven, awaits, offering a serene coastal stroll. Finally, meander through the enchanting gardens enveloping the estate, a tranquil oasis where you can revel in the ever-changing seasonal beauty, ensuring a visit that delights the senses year-round.
Please note for early-season departures that only the ground floor will be open to visitors at Osborne House.
Day Five
This morning we check-out of Warner Bembridge Hotel and travel back to Fishbourne for our return ferry crossing to Portsmouth. From here we join the motorway systems and continue on home to North Wales.
